Transitioning In Trench

I love me some good fall weather. The perfect combination of not too hot, not too cold. Added bonus? Layering is just way too cozy to turn down. A huge fall trend and great layering piece I'm currently loving, is trenches. Any kind really but for the early onset of fall temperatures (and trying to hold on to the idea that winter is still far off) it's all about the draped or waterfall trenches. Extremely versatile, this piece can be dressed both up or down in terms of style and comfort or warmth. I've been known to toss mine over a dress, midi skirt and shirt - or on this occasion added it to a cowl necked chunky knit and classic skinnies, dressed up by pairing a simple black heel.
